The Shan people encompass a large percentage of Burma (Myanmar).

Their innocence is abused by a powerful and corrupt dictatorship. We see their faces, their eyes, but do we hear their pleas? Do we feel their pain, their agony? Some of them – so many of them – could be saved.

It is our shared responsibility to protect these men, women, and children from genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity – a responsibility to be taken by all.

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good people to do nothing.

Together we can feed, heal, clothe, and provide safety.
